Dobs Vye formed his own company adage music in 1999 in Notting Hill with help from the Prince's Trust, and has since created the music for over 100 TV series for all the top UK channels and a great many production companies.
Dobs has always been in bands as singer, guitarist and keyboard player and recently, with James Reynolds, has recorded and released an album as Public Symphony
He began his musical career in choirs and as a professional treble soloist in productions for ENO, Nederlands Opera,The National Theatre (Tosca, Magic Flute, Turn of the Screw, Life of Galileo). Grade VIII's in piano and guitar followed, plus cello in school orchestras at KCS Wimbledon. As a tenor he was briefly a choral scholar at Clare College, Cambridge, before rowing in winning varsity boat races for CUBC and CULRC (National Champions), and played Pink, the lead in the ADC production of 'The Wall' at the Edinburgh Festival. After graduation he spent a season as Manager of Cambridge University Boat Club. At 7PM Management Dobs co-managed record producers, artists and DJ's, including DJ Sasha, John Digweed, BT, Shiva, Mother, and singer Dido.
Dobs and his wife, star soprano Natasha Marsh, now live near London with their three scooting sons.
